History of the Continental
Back in 2008 when we launched the Continental XL we saw a gap in the market for a good sized bivvy.
Previously running Furnace Lakes Fishery near Horsham Sussex, day after day we would see many anglers and their tackle.
We noticed a gap in the market for a long stay bivvy and sales have grown year after year. Maybe too large for a quick over night session, however, if your fishing in the UK or France for a week or more then look no further…

As with all of our bivvies quality is our priority. The Continental XL benefits from 10,000 hydrostatic material. That is then doubled with the included second sheet attached.

I originally bought this bivvy back in 2016 and it is still going strong, all zips still intact and still fully waterproof. I have spent many nights on the bank including a dozen trips to France and it’s still going strong. Because you get the over wrap as standard you can ensure you are fully protected both from the wind and rain but also from the sun as this keeps the bivvy significantly cooler. I spent 7 days in Belgium in 2019 with temperatures in excess of 45° and was still cool with the over wrap and the vents in the back which allow airflow.
